My PC: Ryzen 5 2600, Rx5700xt, 16GB Ram, Windows and Fortnite installed on SSD. In DX 12 mode I have the most FPS and in Performance Mode extremely bad, especially when editing building. My best friend has exactly the same PC only with an Rtx 2070 comparable to the performance of my card. He has a lot of FPS with the mode. Does anyone have the same problem and know how to fix it. In the bottom image, without performance mode, the screen is blindingly purple, and vision is reduced to just the player on screen. Meanwhile, the performance mode-enabled image above has far more visual clarity, with only the storm's minimum effects on the player. Epic employees commented on the post stating they would be investigating the issue. However, another Reddit user pointed out that the team has known about the issue since March 17 after somebody added a card for it on the Fortnite community Trello board. In response, the Epic employee said they hadn't been in the office for a few days.

Setting Power management mode from "Adaptive" to "Maximum Performance" can improve performance in certain applications when the GPU is throttling the clock speeds incorrectly resulting in low fps.
